St. Louis Ataxia Support Group Recognized on CBS News for IAAD
The St Louis Ataxia Support Group and CBS Channel 4 celebrated International Ataxia Awareness Day for the entire month of September 2019! Our group and logo were profiled each weekday night on a segment during the weather, called the 4 Degree Guarantee. What is the 4 Degree Guarantee? If the actual temperature is within 4 degrees of the weather prediction, Channel 4 and Cardinals Care donate to that month’s charity. As of September 27, we had raised $1050 for the National Ataxia Foundation!

Kansas City Area Support Group Hosts Walk N’ Roll to Cure Ataxia Fundraiser
We had our Walk n’ Roll on Sept 14th. It was such a beautiful day. Was held at Macken Park in NKC. It has a perfect trail for the event. The NKC Fire Department came to start the race. We raised more than $5,000 for NAF! Check out our fundraising page.

Sioux Empire Ataxia Support Group October Meeting Addresses Overall Health and Wellness
The Sioux Empire Ataxia Friends group met on Saturday, October 12th. Not everyone was there; the weather may have kept a few people back. We had Dr. Kevin Wubben, a local chiropractor, speak to us about overall wellness/heath (physical and mental). Contact us for information about future meetings.

Mississippi Chapter Holds Annual Picnic
The Mississippi Chapter picnic was held on Saturday, September 1, 2019. Even though it rained most of the day, we were able to get outside for a few minutes to take this picture. Everyone had a good time and enjoyed some “good eats.”
