Geographic Restrictions
They prioritize Texas brain donations, but also accept out of state donations on a case by case basis.

Preexisting Patient or Study Participant Restrictions
The donor does not have to be a patient, however, outside medical records are requested.  The donor does not need to be a part of a study, but it is preferred.

Tissue Use Restrictions
Tissues donated to this brain bank are restricted for research purposes.

Fees
No, but donations are welcomed.

How to Register
Yes, consent and registration if interested in learning more about brain banking is offered where a Biggs institute team member connects to provide additional information for consideration.
